How to associate a general ledger (GL) code to a shift template
Adding a GL code to shift template will automatically include it when creating and assigning shifts.
To add a GL code to a shift template:
- In the left-side toolbar, select SETTINGS > #4 SHIFT TEMPLATES.
- In the row of the shift template, click on the PENCIL icon to open the shift.
- Under the ACCOUNTING TOOLS section, select a GL CODE from the drop-down menu.
- At the top-right of the page, click SAVE.
- In the pop-up box, select if you would like to UPDATE FUTURE SHIFTS with this GL code or LEAVE AS IS.
- If you selected UPDATE FUTURE SHIFTS, click on CONTINUE.
- Using the checkboxes on the left, select shifts that would like to apply the GL code to.
- Click UPDATE SHIFTS.
- Click UPDATES COMPLETE. CLOSE.
Notes:
- You must first create GL codes in SubItUp to apply to shift templates. Click here to learn how to create GL codes.
