Learn how to use Global Max Hours to limit the number of hours an employee can be scheduled across all of their positions.

Set Global Max Hours for an Employee
- From the left-side navigation menu, select Setup > Manage Availability.
- In the upper-right corner, select the green Global Settings icon.
- Find the employee you want to update.
- Enter the maximum number of hours in the Weekly Max column.
- In the Status column, select Active.
- Click the green Save Disk icon.
Set the Same Maximum Hours for Everyone in a Position
If you want to apply the same maximum hours to everyone in the position:
- Enter the maximum number of hours in the row titled Edit All.
- Make sure the appropriate employees are set to Active.
- Click the green Save Disk icon.
Important Notes
- Weekly Max applies across all positions the employee works in, not just the position currently being viewed.
- A manager must have GLOBAL HOURS permission to edit Global Max Hours.
- Setup is the correct section for accessing Manage Availability. Do not look for a separate Settings section.
- If a manager needs GLOBAL HOURS permission, click here to learn how to assign manager permissions.
