How to Give Managers Global Position Permissions

Global access allows a manager to configure settings across all positions within an organization.

Global settings should be reserved for managers who should have access to apply settings for employees across all positions within an organization. For example, an HR administrator or a Primary Manager of a department.

Global Setting Options

  • Global Doubles – Allows managers to enable employees to be scheduled for more than one shift per day across all positions they are assigned to.
  • Global Max – Allows managers to adjust the maximum daily and weekly hours an employee can work across all positions, including those in other departments.
  • Global Position Colors – Allows managers to update position colors across all positions visible on calendars.
  • Global Template Colors – Allows managers to update shift template colors across all templates within a position.
