What is shift-based scheduling?
When choosing shift-based scheduling, you will set your position up to collect availability from your staff, using pre-determined blocks of time that you will create in your shift templates. Your employees will indicate whether they are AVAILABLE, UNAVAILABLE or NO PREFERENCE to work the shift days and times that you have defined.
Once you collect availability, you will use the auto-generation tool to create work schedules. The system will match up and assign available employees to the shift template times that you created.
