What Is Shift-Based Scheduling?
Shift-based scheduling allows managers to collect employee availability using predefined shift blocks created in shift templates.
Employees indicate whether they are Available, Unavailable, or No Preference for each shift time.
Once availability is collected, managers can use the auto-generation tool to build schedules. The system assigns available employees to the shift template times that were created.
