What Is Hourly-Based Scheduling?

Hourly-based scheduling collects employee availability using a freeform calendar.

Employees click and drag the times they are available to work for each day within the requested timeframe.

Once availability is collected, managers can use shift templates to auto-generate a schedule. The system assigns available employees to the shift times in the template. Employees will only be assigned to shifts if they are available for the entire shift duration.
