Steps to set up your positions, employee accounts and devices to use the time clock

Follow these steps in order to set up your employee accounts and designated devices to be used as a time clock.

Follow these steps in order:
  1. Configure how early and late employees can clock in/out for a shift for each position
  2. How to configure a device to be used as a time clock

  3. How to Import Scan Values to Employee Profiles
    1. If you configure a device to be used to clock in/out using a barcode/scan value, a pin number or a phone number, you must upload the values to all employee records.
    2. If you configure a device to be used to clock in/out using the standard set up, using the employee's SubItUp credentials (email/password), you can skip this step. 
  4. Optional: Configure a time clock to automatically clock employees out at the end of their shift
