How to Reset an Employee’s MFA Phone Number

If an employee gets a new phone number and cannot log in, a manager can reset their Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) phone number.

Reset an Employee’s MFA

  1. You will receive an email titled “MFA Reset Requested” from the employee.

  2. Go to account.subitup.com.

  3. Navigate to Staff and select the employee requesting the reset.

  4. Click the General tab.

  5. Click Reset MFA next to the employee’s phone number.

  6. Click Confirm to complete the reset.
(Select Deny if the request was made in error.)

The employee will receive an email confirming the reset and can log in again.

Notes

  • All managers assigned to the employee’s position will receive the MFA reset request.

  • If you do not see the Reset MFA option, another manager has already completed the reset.

  • If an employee belongs to multiple positions, all assigned managers will receive the request. It’s recommended to designate one manager to handle MFA resets.
