How to Create Schedule Buffers

Add buffer times between shifts within a position or across positions that your employees work in. For example, if you have a late-night closing shift and an early morning opening shift, you can use this tool to ensure that an employee assigned to the late-night shift is not scheduled for the early morning shift by creating a buffer time between the two shifts.

• Scheduling buffer templates are referenced only when you use the auto-generation tool to create a schedule.
