How to Create a Request for Time Off for an Employee

Enter a Request for Time Off (RTO) on behalf of an employee.

To manually create a request for time off:

  1. In the left-side toolbar, select REQUEST TIME OFF.
  2. On the top-right of the page, click ADD RTO.
  3. In the pop-up box, select the EMPLOYEEyou’re adding a request for time off for.
  4. Select the POSITIONthe request is for.
  5. Select the START DATE and END DATE for the request for time off.
  6. Select a REASON for the time off request.
  7. Enter an EXPLANATION for the request.
  8. Click the SUBMIT.

 

Notes:

  • The request for time off will automatically be approved for the positions you manage.
