How to copy and paste schedules and shifts
Do you like to keep your schedule the same each week? If so, the copy and paste shift tool can save you a ton of time when creating your schedule.
In this article:
- How to copy and paste schedules and shifts for multiple weeks
- How to copy and paste schedules and shifts for alternating weeks
How to copy and paste schedules and shifts for multiple weeks
How to copy and paste schedules and shifts for alternating weeks
Notes:
- The copy/paste tool will alert you if there is a REQUEST FOR TIME OFF (RTO) on the calendar and if an employee is already scheduled for a shift in the current position or another position they are a member of.
- For hourly-based positions, it does not take into consideration different availability each week for hourly-based positions. If your staff shifts and schedules are the same each week then you can collect availability for one week, fine-tune your schedule, and copy and paste the one week. If this is not the case, it is not recommended that you use this tool.
