Why Am I Seeing an Employee Email Address Error?

This error appears when the email address you are trying to use is already active on another account in SubItUp.

Why This Happens

SubItUp uses email addresses to connect employee accounts across positions. If the email address is already active elsewhere in the system, it cannot be added to another employee record manually.

How to Fix It

To resolve this issue:

  1. Archive the employee record with the incorrect email address.
  2. Add the employee again as a new employee using the correct email address.

This will automatically link the employee’s account with their other positions.
