Time Clock Not Working or Showing as Unconfigured

If your time clock appears unconfigured or stops working, it usually means the cookies on the device were cleared or the computer was reset.

Reconnecting the Time Clock

  1. On the time clock screen, select Set Up My Device or Reconnect My Time Clock.
    (Both options perform the same action.)

  2. Enter your manager credentials when prompted.

  3. A list of available Time Clock Configurations will appear.

  4. Select the configuration assigned to that device or location.

Once selected, the time clock will reconnect and be ready for employees to use.


If Your Configuration Does Not Appear

If you do not see the configuration you need in the list, the device may still be linked elsewhere.

To reset the linked device:

  1. Navigate to Time Clock → Configuration → Device Configuration.

  2. Locate the configuration you want to use.

  3. Click the green checkmark next to the configuration.

  4. Select Reset Linked Devices.

After resetting:

  1. Return to the time clock screen.

  2. Refresh or reload the page.

  3. Run the setup process again.

The configuration should now appear in the list so you can select it and reconnect the device.
