How to Generate a Shift-Based Availability Summary
View how many employees selected Available, Unavailable, or No Preference for each Shift Template.
To View a Shift-Based Availability Summary
- In the left-side toolbar, select Schedule.
- Select Availability Settings > Shift-Based Availability Summary.
- At the top of the page, select the Position you want to view.
- Under the Shift Name column, each active Shift Template will be listed.
- Under each day of the week, hover over the numbers in a shift row to view the names and counts of employees who selected:
- Available
- No Preference
- Unavailable
The summary reflects the employee availability currently associated with each Shift Template.
Shift-Based vs. Hourly Availability Reports
The Shift-Based Availability Summary is specifically for positions configured to use Shift-Based Availability.
If the position uses Hourly Availability, use the Hourly Availability Report instead.
These are separate availability tools in SubItUp and should not be used interchangeably.
The Hourly Availability Report has a documented CSV Export option. The Shift-Based Availability Summary does not have that same documented CSV Export option.
Notes
- The position must be configured for Shift-Based Availability to use this summary.
- Active Shift Templates will appear in the Shift Name column.
- This summary displays availability associated with Shift Templates. It is different from General Availability.
- General Availability, Shift-Based Availability, and Hourly Availability are separate types of availability in SubItUp.
