Does SubItUp Offer Geofencing?

SubItUp does not currently offer geofencing.

This is intentional, as GPS data from mobile devices can be unreliable, especially inside buildings or large facilities. Strict location-based restrictions can sometimes create more issues than they solve.

What Options Are Available?

Time Clock Map

SubItUp provides a Time Clock Map, which allows managers to:

• View where employees were located when they clocked in or out
• Monitor clock-in activity for accuracy
• Increase accountability among staff

Please note that SubItUp cannot require employees to keep location services enabled on their personal devices. If location services are turned off, location data will not be captured.

Restricting Device Access

If additional control is needed, you can:

• Limit time clock access to approved devices only
• Disable clocking in and out from personal devices

This ensures employees can only clock in from designated locations or devices.
