HOW TO VIDEO:
Lets Begin with the "Labor Cost Report. This report summarizes total cost for a date range for a singular department. If you need totals for multiple positions, per specific shift title with rounding functionality and more use our new "Payroll Report Instead."(scroll down to see more about our Payroll Report tool)
Create your First Labor Cost Report:
To create a Labor Cost Report navigate to the Labor Cost Report page by click on the Labor Cost Reports tool in the left hand column of the Manager Login. This will launch a pop-up menu where you can select the Report Length and Report Date. For this example we will choose a Report Length of 1 week and a Report Start Date of 9/23/12. If you choose not to use Timeclock data the report will instead be based off of scheduled hours on the calendar instead of actual Timeclcok data.
By clicking the generate report button this 1 week report will be created and displayed on the page.
In this report you can see the list of all of your employees and the number of hours they worked over the week of 9/23/2012 - 9/29/2012. To get more value out of this report you can add the actual hourly wages and/or annual salaries of your employees.
Adding Wages and Salaries:
To add a wage or salary to an employee all you need to do is click on the pencil next to the wage or salary you wish to change. For example if we want to set Ryan Jacobs hourly wage to $8.25 we would click on the pencil next to his $0.00 wage.
This will launch a pop-up menu where you can enter his wage information. If you leave the wage date range unassigned the system apply this wage to all Labor Cost Reports.
After repeating this process for each employee the Labor Cost Report will have the full cost information like you can see below:
For Additional functionality like approval tools, total labor cost for multiple positions and sort and search features including shift titles you will want to us our new "Payroll Report."
