Managing Time Off Requests (RTOs)
Navigate to the "Request Time Off" page from the SubItUp menu. This page will show a list of pending, approved, and rejected RTOs.
Pending RTOs will be listed in the order they were submitted - the first listed RTO was the first submitted.
Additionally, there are two helpful pieces of information provided to assist in the RTO approval process. Here you will also find the number of staff requesting and approved for time off in the same date range.
Once you have approved or denied the RTO, the employee will receive a notification in their SubItUp employee account. SubItUp will not allow any staff member to be scheduled during their approved RTO.
Approved RTOs will be displayed on the Calendar as "greyed" out as you can see in the screen shot below.
Notes about RTOs:
- If an employee tries to submit an RTO request during a time they are already scheduled to work, they will receive the error message, "There has been an error submitting your RTO, you have a conflict with a shift." The employee should drop/offer the shift instead.
- RTOs are department specific. For an employee working in more than one department, they will need to have their RTOs approved by each department.
