How to Copy & Paste Shifts:
Let's say the weekly schedule you have generated for the week starting on Monday 2/15/2016, see below, is a schedule that you would like to use for the upcoming week starting on Monday 2/222016.
To copy this schedule to the week beginning on 5/4/2015 click on the "Copy & Paste" button,
. Once clicked a pop-up menu will load.
In the Calendar on the left click on the first day of the week you would like to copy. In the calendar to the right click on the first day of the week that you would like to paste into. In this example we will copy the week of the 15th into the following week of the 22nd. Next choose if you would only like to copy this one week or if you would like to do this for multiple weeks. You may copy as many as 15 weeks at a time.
You may choose if you want the shifts pasted as published or unpublished. This way you can create the schedule for a longer period of time but only release the portions that you would like.
The last option provides even greater detail in that it allows you to pick which employees you want to copy for. You can select for all or any grouping that you wish.
Once you have gone through all steps, click on the "Review" button, this will display a summary of what you are about to copy and paste,
If everything looks good click on the "Copy and Paste" button. In the event that there are one or more shifts that are not assinged to an emloyee a pop op box will appear with all shifts that are not assigned. These shifts may not have been assinged because of a conflict for the assigned employee or they may be shift that were copied as unassigned. You may assign these shift or close out of the pop up to review the shifts on your calendar.
- If an employee has a conflict with a shift during a week that you are pasting into, that shift will be dropped to the available shift region of the calendar view.
