From your SubItUp employee account you can easily request time off for any dates that you are not currently scheduled for. If you would like to take time off on a date you are currently scheduled for the recommendation is to either drop or swap your shifts on the days that you want time off.
From the Employee login you can request time of by clicking the request time off button, . Once clicked a pop-up menu will appear where you can select the day(s) / time(s) you are requesting off. In this menu you will need to select a "Reason" from the drop down menu and type in an "Explanation. Both the "Reason" and "Explanation" will be seen by your manager. If you work in multiple departments the request for time off will be submitted to each of your departments or positions you work in. In some cases you may have more than one managers approving the time off.
Once you submit the Request for Time Off you will see a notification at the top of the screen letting you know that the request is pending approval by a manager. This notification will look like this:
When your manager has approved the request for time off you will have a new notification indicating that it has been approved.
Once the Request for Time Off has been approved the approved dates will have a black background in your calendar, like the screenshot below:
If your plans change you can always cancel the “RTO."
If you attempt to request time off for a day which conflicts with a scheduled shift in your calendar you will receive this error message "There has been an error submitting your RTO, you have a conflict with a shift." To request time off for days which you have been scheduled for you should drop or offer the applicable shift(s).
